Dr. Henry Onyeaka is a board-certified, Harvard-trained psychiatrist and the founder of Iroko Psychiatry. He established the practice to expand access to high-quality, evidence-based mental health care—delivering psychiatric treatment that is clinically rigorous and patient-centered.
With extensive clinical experience across two continents, Dr. Onyeaka's work has been shaped by early medical practice in Ghana and Nigeria, advanced training in population health, and years of academic and clinical leadership in the United States. He completed his psychiatry residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School, and holds a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Onyeaka currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and work part-time as a Staff Psychiatrist at McLean Hospital in Massachusetts. Affectionally known as "Dr. O" by patients and colleagues, he is recognized for his commitment to clinical excellence, empathy, and holistic, measurement-driven care.
